Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum have finalized their nasty divorce and have seemingly worked out all of their custody issues concerning their daughter Everly. But now, according to a new report, Dewan has made an emergency filing to drop the Tatum and have her name legally changed back to Jenna Dewan. Could this mean that Dewan is ready to marry her boyfriend, Steve Kazee?
According to The Blast, the Flirty Dancing host went to court this past week to ask a judge if she could get rid of “Tatum” and go back to her maiden name. The filing was ex-parte, which in California courts translates to an emergency request in an attempt to have something decided on rather quickly.

As fans know, Dewan and Kazee started dating in October 2018, which was the same month that Dewan filed for divorce from Tatum. Dewan and Tatum announced their split in the spring of that year. When she moved on with Kazee, he moved on with singer Jessie J.
The split eventually turned nasty over custody issues with their daughter. At the same time, Dewan announced she was expecting a baby with Kazee, and she is ready to move on to the next chapter in her life.
The legal filing to change her name has sparked rumors that Dewan is ready to tie the knot with Kazee. And, the ex-parte filing could mean she wants to get married before she gives birth to baby number two.
Another possibility is that when Dewan gives birth, she wants to make sure that her name on the baby’s birth certificate is “Dewan” and not “Tatum.”

Jenna Dewan has been documenting her pregnancy on Instagram, and she recently posed for a beautiful photoshoot to show off her baby bump during her final trimester. Dewan wore a lot of white lace during the shoot, which looked a lot like a wedding dress. But, neither Dewan nor Kazee have said anything about a wedding…yet.
As for Dewan and Tatum’s split, they agreed to 50/50 custody of their daughter, and they also agreed to keep Everly out of advertising campaigns on social media. Instead, they are only allowed to post family pics while avoiding for-profit posts that feature their daughter.
