Ivanka Trumps Former Childhood BFF Reveals Donald Trump Would Fat-Shame Her

Lysandra Ohrstrom used to be Ivanka Trump’s childhood best friend and now, she is opening up about that time in her life! That being said, Ohrstrom just revealed that Ivanka’s dad, Donald Trump, did not hesitate to body shame her even though she was only a young teenager.

Not only that but, apparently, the president suggested he was only ‘doing her a favor!’

Lysandra Ohrstrom is well aware now that being best of friends with Ivanka Trump had its downfalls as well.

The journalist opened up about it all in a new essay for Vanity Fair.

She recalled the perks of her former friendship with Ivanka, which included photoshoots, sleepovers at the Trump Tower, trips to Paris, shopping in Manhattan and more, all with her BFF!

The main downside of it all, however – her father!

After all, Donald Trump supposedly had no problem criticizing the looks of a young girl under the pretence that he was helping her out.

Ohrstrom writes in the essay that ‘Though [Donald Trump] never remembered my name, he seemed to have photographic memory for all changes in my body. I will never forget the time that Ivanka and I were having lunch with her brothers at Mar-a-Lago, and while Mr. Trump was saying hi, Don Jr. swiped half of a grilled cheese sandwich off my plate. Ivanka scolded him, but Mr. Trump chimed in, ‘Don’t worry. She does not need it. He is doing her a favor.’ Conversely, he would usually congratulate me if I’d lost weight.’

This apparently happened before their freshman year of high school.

And that was not the only creepy behavior she witnesses from Trump.

Just as he was so harsh about her weight, he would also be inappropriately complimentary with other young girls.

‘[Trump] would barely acknowledge me except to ask if Ivanka was the prettiest or the most popular girl in our grade. Before I learned that the Trumps have no sense of humor about themselves, I remember answering honestly that she was probably in the top five. ‘Who’s prettier than Ivanka?’ I recall him asking once with genuine confusion, before correctly naming the two girls I’d had in mind. He described one as a young Cindy Crawford, while the other he said had a great figure.’
